My goal is to cultivate life experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration, and connection, while also teaching some practical skills to make your textile and upholstery projects beautiful! Going to art workshops has been a joy in my life in recent years and my hope is to bring that opportunity to others! I love upholstery and the challenge of repurposing old worthy pieces in creative and beautiful ways. Below are some photos of my work, most of my chairs are found on the side of the road.

I love creating beautiful things. I especially love creating beautiful things when I can repurpose materials in new and creative ways. My creative journey has led me from floral design, cake decorating, sewing, furniture upholstery and printmaking to teaching art in a public school for 10 years. I nomad at heart, you will often find me in a thrift store, listening to yacht rock, camping, hiking, and/or dancing. Creating makes me so happy!

I’m a foodie at heart and I love to cook! I’m also a mom and a practicing acupuncturist, so both at home and work I am always trying to nourish people. My professional training has led me to understand food as an important type of medicine, so I am passionate about honoring this fundamental truth while also making it delicious and enjoyable. I like to use quality ingredients and keep preparation simple, but then with a little bit of inspiration it quickly becomes a creative process and outlet for me too.
